Yesterday was my first consultation with the surgeon. I am so excited for this change, I need this, my family needs this! I’ve already given my PCP my paperwork for surgery clearance, I scheduled my psych appointment for next week. I need this to move fast.... I want to just get through the pre-op and surgery ...

I started my journey in June and before I knew it, it was 10/17 and I was at the hospital at 6:00 am to get prepped for my surgery. It's a learning experience every day after that but trust me, even the preop diet is going to get you into the right mindset.

And you will be on the " other side" with a bunch of US, and it is a good good place to be!

My surgery is scheduled for 11/16 and I am excited too! But, I am also so overwhelmed with everything! So many vitamin choices and protein choices! I just wish I could get a box of things I needed and be done with it!
