Two and a half days post op

So I had my sleeve gastrectomy on Monday at around 2 pm EDT.. it's now 107 am on Thursday early morning.. and I just got out of the hospital earlier today.. so far all I've had is half orange juice/half water.. about 45 ounces or so and now I have a big container of room temp water.. that I've sort of been sipping on the last hour.. ok only one sip so far.. but ya.. I'm trying my best to deal with all the pain and stuff.. it's not super easy but I'm ok. Just wanted to share where I was at.. this has been a long process getting to this point and it's almost surprising to me that I really full on went through with the surgery.. no regrets.. I'm happy I did it.. I just want it to stop hurting when I try and drink something hah..

But that's the thing.. oh.. ya.. I had one Hershey kiss.. ugh.. also I tried to eat 5 Ritz crackers but spit them out after I chewed them but I guess some of the cracker got down.. just hard to believe the negative effects of that would last so long.. it's almost been a full day since that.

Good luck. Hope all goes well SOON!!!

Killing it man, CONGRATS!!!!

I am 3 days post op. I stayed in the hospital one night. The first two days were tough. I couldn’t keep anything down. Day 3 has been a lot better. I’ve had 1 premier protein shAke, I premier protein water. 10 oz plain water, a cup of ice and 1cup poweraid zero. It feels like it’s taken all day to get that down and I am going to start in my second shake.

Any suggestions for gas pain? Did anyone use an abdominal binder? When walking my stomach is in a lot of pain.
