Dehydration and workouts?

Hey Ya'll, I'm new, still researching and found this wonderful website.

I'm curious about dehydration after workouts. For example, can you still go for a 3 mile run or take a grueling one hour spinning class? With all that sweating and intake restrictions, you won't be able to inhale Water for replenisment correct?

Hi Bigcountry!

I've never had a problem either. I can pretty much drink normally as before with the exeption of gulping a whole bottle of water at once. Right after surgery is when I was very limited. I had to take small sips for a while, but once the swelling went down I was able to drink normal.
