Was sleeved in July, but just wanted to tell you all that you got this. It's going to be rough at first but when those times come just remember that the recovery process is only temporary and when you

October 3rd! I'm nervous! And also excited! Btw, thanks for labeling this thread "2018." There are two other October threads that don't have the year marked, and I really hope some of us stay in

I've started a list to help people find their surgery buddies. This is supposed to just be sleevers, but I bet some others snuck on. It's supposed to be all the October sleevers, but I'm 100% sure I m

I just got back from a 5 night stay at an all-inclusive resort in Riviera Maya. I weighed myself before I left and when I got home and I lost 1 1/2 lbs! I didn’t think I could ever do that on vacation! I’m so glad I had this surgery!! ❤️

That’s awesome! Where’d you go? My husband and I are going there at the end of March! Can’t wait!

I haven’t posted in a while. Life gets in the way! I had my surgery October 16th. I had my three month follow up with my doctor last week. He was very pleased with my progress. I’m down 56 pounds since October 2 when I started the liver shrinking diet and 43 pounds since the surgery.

Here are some of the amazing things that have happened to me (besides my weight loss):

I’ve lost 26 inches all over my body

My old clothes fit me now. In fact some of my size 16 are big!

I can fit into some XL’s!

But probably the most amazing change is that life has been very stressful lately, dealing with two sick parents who live far away. I’ve traveled several times to visit them in the past month and the old me would’ve turned to food to help me cope but I haven’t! I feel so much more capable of dealing with my stress because of all of the work I did beforehand. I’ve realized that food is not that important and that I’m not going to let it derail all of the work I’ve done!

I hope you’re all doing well and feeling great!

We stayed at Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun (long name - lol). It was fantastic!! And the room even had a scale which I loved having! I weigh myself every day (I KNOW you aren’t supposed to but I do) so being able to do that while I was away was great for me! Enjoy your trip! Where are I staying??

Sometimes the scale keeps you on track!

Were staying at Unico 20 87 in the Maya Riveria. I can’t wait!

Most of the time when I eat now my stomach makes a lot of noise. It’s embarrassing as others can hear it too ?. I talked to my surgeon about this on my 3 month check up and he stated that noise is from air being in my stomach but I don’t know how that is possible. My stomach never made any noises prior to my surgery

You’re so close! You’ll be out of the obese category in no time. Just keep on doing what you’re doing!
Good morning all! Just took some progress pics to compare to the ones I took prior surgery. 3.5 months in. Down from size 20 to 14. Down almost 50 pounds. Let’s do this ??

Awesome!!!! Keep up the great work!

Loosing my hair like crazy.....I started to loosing my hair post Menopause about two years ago so I have been taking two biotin nutrients a day plus Purador hair loss shampoo. My nutritionist also informed to to also start taking collagen pepitides powder daily. Still my hair is falling out crazy amounts. It’s not from a lack of protein I’m eating plenty of that. Does anybody know how long the hair loss continues or here is a better question when does it grow back?!!
I haven’t had any hair loss yet but I’ve been taking biotin and collagen since first week after surgery to prevent that and flabby skin...I think that’s why I haven’t had any issues yet.
I have a friend who’s a couple years postop and she said hear hair is still growing back so she keeps it very short and we don’t see any bald spots...it’s different for everyone I guess.
