My surgery is Nov 1st. Starting the month strong.
I will be starting my soft food phase thanksgiving day technically. I'm a bit worried about what healthy food options there will be for me th at I'm actually able to eat. I may just put off eating so ft foods for a few extra days so I'm not tempted. Is thanksgiving and Christmas a concern for anyone else?
How are people monitoring their progress? I created a spreadsheet of various body measurements, weight, body fat, bmi that I plan on filling out weekly, I started a week before surgery. As well as weekly pictures.

What's everyone's stat?

All I know all the pre OP and post OP food is expensive. I been making soups and freezing them in small containers. But protein power and the shakes are expensive.

I did that last week. I'm on the liquid diet now.
How is it going....what types of liquids are you using
I’m scheduled for November 8th. Already on my liquid diet (started on Thursday) and apparently the protein shakes can give you diarrhea. At least I’ve been dealing with it all day.
My surgery is scheduled for November 29th. I’ll start liquids the day after Thanksgiving ?

I haven't gotten a date yet but hopping for Dec. 11 (my birthday) because it will be a present to myself (other than the surgery).

Starting W-244

GW-110

CW-as of last weight-in 239

I forgot something.

I'm also in the process of moving into my own new place and has an elevator because I currently live on the 4th floor, and My Pulmonologist doesn't want me to go thru that with my asthma/sleep apnea

Hoping that is just your body getting use to the liquid diet. Good Luck.

While I don't have my date yet, it's looking like it should be in November!

I have been scheduled for Nov. 9 and have started my liquid diet. It is not as bad as I thought it would be although it is boring.

Amazon is a great place and if you think about it it's $.50-$2 meal.

Costco also often has sales on their protein and you can usually find it for less than 5g of carbs per serving.
