Skin Removal Surgery- Your Experience

I've got some extra skin on my stomach and my arms. It's not very noticeable to others, but I can see it. What are you skin removal experiences? How long did it take to recover? Were you able to return to work soon after? Scarring? I'm considering having it done but not sure if it is worth it since I don't have a lot.

Im interested in the answers to this as well. I've been worried about excess skin..(which is not a factor for me not to have surgery) but im curious to know about the removal surgery as well so i can kind of plan if i end up with a bunch of excess skin

I am also interested. I saw a video on youtube of a lady that had had her arms done and the skin looked very puckered, kind of put me off.

Other pre-op people: do yourself a favor, and do not go read the forum I'm going to link. Just... look, we all have time before we have to think about that part, and it's not worth stressing ourselves out.

Post-op people who want to start investigating plastic surgery: there is a whole forum on this site about this topic! https://www.bariatricpal.com/forum/393-plastic-reconstructive-surgery/

(To be clear: I'm not saying "get out of here with this discussion." I'm just making sure you're aware that there is a LOT of discussion happening already, in case it'll help you out! Carry on. :))
