Having Sx on 7/27/18, protein question

Good Morning!! I am scheduled for gastric sleeve sx on Friday. I have been drinking Labrada protein shakes for a few days now but wanted to know what protein powder you all like to mix with flavored water, broth, sugar free pudding etc... as I look ahead.

Also low/no sugar protein bars. I have been munching on a couple of Quest bars and One protein bars as a snack. Any favs/flavors?

@rebchiefI love the Syntrax Nectar Line and the Pure Protein bar but the ONLY flavor I like is the chocolate salted caramel. The other flavors, I was not a fan! There is so much out there. It's pretty much trial and error and stick with what you like ;) Good luck Friday. I have my revision tomorrow.

After surgery, I switched over to Unjury Protein powders. It is a whey protein isolate especially formulated for bariatric surgery as is better absorbed by your new sleeve. I was on Premiere protein prior to surgery, but it felt to thick. I enjoy their unflavored and classic chocolate the best. They have a starter kit which is perfect for your first order. It's a sample pack of flavors so you can see which you like. They sell online or at some pharmacies.

Another vote for Unjury unflavored. It's especially great in the pureed stage to mix in to foods like soup, puddings, etc. for extra protein. I also like to put their chicken soup flavor in some broth for a warm protein drink.

I enjoy nuts -we are what we eat :) - so when i want a treat my go to is a Kind Bar.

not a protein bar but i have no issues hitting my protein target and at 5g sugar i can fit this into my 10g or less sugar per day program as a once in while treat.
