I am glad you are taking care of yourself. It is good that you are at least saying out loud you hope you are ready for the surgery, that shows you are trying to do what you need to. Sorry to hear o

We're here for you. I'm happy to see you are in therapy. It will help with your loss and eating. This is a scary surgery, but the risks are much lower now than they used to be. I was also terrified

In 35 days I am having my GS surgery. I’m not so much as nervous for the surgery, I’m more scared I won’t wake up from the surgery and will die.
Back in April I had a miscarriage, I didn’t tell anyone about the miscarriage including my bf. Which lead to me becoming depressed and pushing him away. 2 weeks into April I had the opportunity come up for me to be able to get surgery, meaning my aunt had money from when my uncle passed. My depression has gotten worse since the break up. He’s already moved onto a new relationship.
I’m going to therapy. Trying a new church out on Sunday (haven’t gone since I was 17, I’m 30 now). Starting a yoga class tonight and I have deleted all social media off of my phone. I also have started to share with people close to me about my miscarriage.
I hope I am mentally ready for this in 5-6 weeks.
My pre-op appointment is on July 16th and my surgery date is August 16th. I have to do 4 weeks of the pre-op diet.
