New to the site

Good Afternoon,

I am having surgery July 18th and the protein shakes and they are not staying in me ....if you know what i mean. Does anyone have any suggestions?

How long do you freeze them? I'm afraid they will explode in the freezer...

I'd probably pour them in a bowl first. I haven't done it, but others on the site have.

You could always do protein water instead of the shakes. They are less thick and the texture seems more manageable. I got off those things as soon as I possibly could. I do protein powder in a smoothie now, but nothing premade or straight shake. Yuck.

I put mine in a bowl and freeze it about 30 minutes, so it ends up being like ice cream. Im also having this same issue with them going right through me until I started getting super creative (mostly bored with what I had), so I wanted to Dr it up.
