There is no physical reset/resize of your stomach through a diet. The "reset" is more of a return to the foundations of a proper diet. The "reset" usually starts with a liquid diet like you had after surgery and progresses back to normal food. You can web search the variations of the "reset" diet.

Right now I'm on day 4 of the liquid diet. How long ago was your surgery?

Hi! My pre-op diet really fills me up. It’s called the Robard Diet. The products are called New Direction. It’s about 1,000 calories, 3 shakes or puddings, 1 soup and 1 bar. There are lots to choose from. This is for 14 days and everything is just packed with protein. It might be a good way to reset yourself. Just a thought. I am a newbie here.

The reset process allows the pouch to relax and (potentially) return to a smaller size. Not a full reduction to original size, but allowing the pouch to remain "empty" for a bit does allow it to reduce it's size to some extent.

But yes, doing a reset typically starts with simply starting your diets over as if you've never had the surgery, and working though the whole process until you are back to "full raw" foods.
