Hey we are almost Sleeve buddies. I’m getting sleeved Thursday. Where are you getting sleeved? I’m getting sleeved in Mexico with Dr. Ponce. What are your stats? Let’s keep in touch so we can support each other. Best of luck to both of us!!

I am having mine in Massachusetts with Dr. Streeter. My current weight is 300, I started off at 320 (highest my weights ever been). Yes we can most definitely keep in touch I would love that[emoji4]

I think i was mentally better prepared. It is not that bad. The key is keep ur self hydrated, walk walk and walk.

Pain will be there but that is what we are opting for. Its only 5 days for me but i am super excited about future.

Best of luck and always remember this something we want Desparately.

I’m with you guys with the crazy mix of emotions. I’m being sleeved on Thursday, June 28. I think I’m getting through the final days by keeping busy. I’m shopping for the house so I don’t need to do that when I get back (I have 4 boys plus a husband and man do they eat lol). I’m also shopping for the things I need like broth, sugar free juice, protein shakes, etc.

Prepare and keep busy. It will not only help you get through the surgery but it will also help you through this preop diet.

Good luck and a speedy recovery to us all!!!

The day after mine that's Awesome . I also brought everything that I could possibly need. I have so many protein powders, water, jello, broth, etc. I have a son and get so much anxiety at the thought of not being with him for possibly two days (I have separation issues) lol. This is also my first time ever having surgery so that makes me super nervous but I am going in with positive thoughts and I know that this is the right decision. Thanks for taking the time to write me and yes good luck and speedy recovery to us all!!!!!!

I’m on the 28th also!!!!

looks like it’s gonna be a busy day for sleevers, i know of about 6 on that day so far

lets keep in touch, with our progress...

I had my surgery yesterday in Istanbul (I'm an American living in Turkey) and I think I've gotten through the worst of it recovery wise. It was more pain than i had anticipated but looking back i think my expectations were a little unrealistic. It was also my first time having any kind of surgery. My best advice is bring some audio books or podcasts if you can, that really helped distract me from the pain and put my mind at ease the first night because my eyes were too tired to read the books I brought :)
