What happened to the UP-TO-DATE list? Seems to have diminished with these old ones resurfacing.

The problem Stevie is that some people don't start with the latest list. When I have time I will go back to the beginning and start a new list. However, the first one that comes along and picks up an old list drops people along the way.

Sorry I quoted the one that was posted yesterday.

this is day 3 post opt for me felling 85% worest night was last night I ran out of pain meds, and the gas pain made me feel like I was in labor but fell great today

Ok, so added myself to Shelia's just posted list.

Wasn't planning on having it moved up. The hospital moved my surgery to January 25 from January 21, and I couldn't do it on that date. The only day my surgeon, Dr. Christine Ren, was available was Dec 31.

i'm on clear liquids for 7 days, other liquids for 14 days, etc. this liquid thing is not OK. I am starving and cranky and about to break down. help, anyone?

Tomecia, glad to hear you're feeling better. What kind of pain meds did you get? my doctor didn't mention me getting any pain meds. I thought I was just going to have to take liquid tylenol. Do you have any of that?

I am having my surgery on Friday.... yes, yes, yes!

my doctor gave me a liquid called roxicet for pain. And, yes Tomecia, the gas pain is like LABOR PAINS.

I'm sorry to hear you're going thru a tough time with the clear liquids. I can't imagine not being hungry on it. Maybe you should call your doctor about it and they'll start you on the protein liquid so you don't feel hungry. With my doctor only the first two days are clear then I will start the liquid protein. I would be cranky too!

good luck missy, I know you will be SO glad when your date finally arrives. It's HELL waiting ...

Good luck Missy, and yes Candy, it is hell waiting... I can't wait to start the liquid protein diet next Monday (10 days before surgery) just to stop eating so much right now - I have the hungry horrors! Did you all go thru this before your pre-op diet?
