i was positive and had surgery as soon as i was cleared. its no problem.

I took the two VILE antibiotics or 10 days and then started the preop diet, then surgery. The pills are bitter, take with a sip of milk, and I was sensitive to one of then - made my ears ring horribly and had dark urine - just be aware.

Hi, like many people here, I did test positive. I did the round of antibiotics and the surgeon I was working with also had me scooped. The check required me to check in for a procedure, I was put under twilight sedation and a scope was inserted to check for ulcers. It all came back clear and I, on my own, started eating yogurt with probiotics afterwards. Above all, don't worry!

All this is good to know! I am on my third day of the antibiotics. I didn’t even have symptoms of h pylori, so I guess it is good to find and get cleared up.

I also had it and didn’t know. Took the awful antibiotics and had my surgery a month later.
