I started walking the day of surgery and never looked back. I walk every day. Now, I'm up to walking 1-40 minute session and 1-30 minute session per day--that's over 2 miles per day which sounds wussy

walk as soon as you can as much as you can. everything else clear with you surgeon.

I walked a lot immediately. It was about a week to ten days before I did more strenuous outdoor walking. At 6 weeks I started more intensive exercise
