Do call your insurance but keep in mind, they will probably give you wrong information. If they say it is not covered don't take their word for it. Read your policy yourself, look it up on line, verify. Don't bank on what you are told on the phone.

People come up with the money in all sorts of creative ways. Most creative way I have seen so far is to go dumpster diving and sell the treasures on ebay. Nope, not kidding. When people want it badly enough, they'll do just about anything to get it.

I am lucky, I wrote a check for my surgery.

My beautiful, lovely, supporting, unconditionally loving MOM (love ya Mom!!!!) gave me a loan. I can repay in "money" but will never be able to repay in what this has done for me!

If it hadn't been for my Mom, I would have had to wait two years to get to my 401K to get a loan.

i had to use capital one care credit. it has a fixed rate which was nice. i was able to get 10%..which is still high to me, but low compared to other credit offers.

I got a medical loan. I prefer that to charging since it has a limited time span rather than a credit card that can go on foreverrrrrrr!

Good luck to you - call your insurance and find out! You may also need to check at your work to see if they excluded it. My insurance would cover the surgery but my company specifically excluded it from our policy .... so I self paid
