Hey guys, I’m on day one of the pre op diet. Any and all tips of what’s good to have, what does the trick, or what sauces or things you can use? I’m drawing a blank on what can get me through lol...

Did your dietician give you a list of foods to eat? Walden Farms makes some great dressings and sauces that are zero calorie. They really helped to get me through my pre op diet.

She did, I’m just looking for outsiders tips on what got them through

You didn’t really specify what your pre op diet is so your responses may not be very helpful.

Pre op diets are extremely varied. Some of us were on two weeks of liquids, some of us were allowed raw vegetables, some of us were allowed one low calorie but high protein meal per day with protein shakes. Some people only had two days of a liquid diet pre op.

You may get more responses/ideas if you specify what exactly you are allowed to eat on your own pre op diet.

I’m allowed a shake in the morning, an apple for a snack, then lunch a shake and small salad with balsamic vinegar or equivalent, dinner I’m allowed 4 oz of lean protien and as many non starchy vegetables, also it says I’m able to have 1/4 cup of brown rice.. then another shake in the evening. Sorry I didn’t specify
