I seem to be stalled as well. The discouragement is tremendous. It makes it difficult to stick to a diet. I don't eat much of course but picking only healthy foods is not as easy. Eat healthy for 2 weeks and no loss. Cheat occassionaly and no weight gain. I lose a pound a week. I just thought I would lose more. It is raining a lot and I can't get out as much as I want. I am trying to motivate myself but it is difficult.

hang in there DA the crappy weather will pass and then you can get out and up your activity level.

if available to you pay for a month gym membership (no contract) and get some weight lifting in on the machines and some time on the treadmill till the weather breaks.

you have to keep your body off balance. It will get used to any routine so you need to change it up to challenge your body. Follow your post op diet plan and bump up activity level as much as you can and the stall will break.

keep the faith and good luck

Thank you for the encouraging words. I have an elliptical and did that for 20 minutes tonight. I will do some yoga tomorrow. I love the yoga for stretching and reducing the stress. But I will do it. I need to get back on track or even on a track.

Here's my weight loss graph since I started my liquid pre op diet on Christmas. There are peaks and valleys but overall it keeps going down. To be honest every time I start to gain a bit I panic but still. The graph doesn't lie. Hope it helps.Screenshot_20180316-035039.jpg

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
