I hate food.

1 month post op and I f**king hate food. It doesn’t give me the comfort it used to. Some of them even make my stomach hurt like f**king hell.

This is what I need though.

I cannot tolerate white meat chicken, try thigh meat. It's a texture scale 0 is water and 6 is NY strip steak. White chicken is a 5, soft white fish is a 2.5.... You are not ready for chicken yet

Yes. But this eases up by 5 months, so beware.

Which foods make your stomach hurt? Curious!

I feel the same way 80% of the time. I seriously struggle to grocery shop because there are times that all food just makes me nauseous. It seems like it’s going away now, but I had this severe problem about 4 weeks post op. I didn’t eat much of anything for several days. I still struggle with food choices, nothing sounds good. When something finally does taste good, it’s only a few momentary bites and I’m full. There is ZERO comfort in food any longer.

You and food have just finalized your divorce. And like a victim of abuse you're hesitant to put yourself back into that situation. Hopefully by the time you feel better you will reconcile with good healthy food products.
