I am new here and will be getting my lapband on November 15, 2007. I am overly happy about getting a new lease on life. I have struggled with my weight all of my life and I feel as though my weight has made me put my life on hold. I have tried so many diets only to fail.

My biggest reason for losing the weight is to be healthy and to get pregnant. I have struggled with infertility for the past 9 years and I feel like I am losing time. My doctor says that my weight is the biggest problem for my infertility.

I am looking forward to a brand new start on life.

I know how you feel. It took me and hubby 6 years to finally get pregnant. Someone on LBtalk told me that after a 50 lb weight loss you start ovulating. I really it hope everything works out for you. Nov. 15th will be here before ya know it. God bless
