2 week post op incision pain

My incisions are healing nicely , the glue is coming off but when I sit up I'm in so much pain. I'm good if I'm laying down but sitting up for more than 10mins and I feel a pulling and burning pain. Any one else experienced this ? I'm scheduled to go back to work next on 2/7. I have a desk job but sitting is going to hurt if this pain doesn't go away.

I am only on day 2 postop but can see what you mean about sitting up. My dr said the more consistently I practice sitting up and down, the easier it would get. He also said 3 weeks minimum to return to work for me. Good luck! My prayers are with you!

I am having a burning sensation on one of mine. I’m 1 week post op. I think it’s mostly due to it being stretched because when I stand my belly hangs. When I laying down it’s fine. It has gotten better the last day or so.
