New here

I am new here.us I was banded July 26 by Dr. Adam Glasgow. Have lost 53 lbs. so far. Was feeling really hungry lately and had my first fill today. I am hoping the fill keeps my weight loss on track.

klpdbl,

It took a while for me to get my first fill because I was steadily losing weight and not feeling too hungry until now. My doc told me everyone is different and some people plug away for months without a fill. There always come the day though that having lost so much weight, the stomach shrinks and the band needs to be tightened. Good luck to you with your fill and thanks for the welcome.

Renied2:)

That is true not everybody is the same, for example, i have one year with my band, and I had only 3 fills !!

I don't know if this happens to everybody but at first I used to be hungry, and I was eating small portions like every 3 hours as my doctor indicated..... now i can say that I have only 3 very small meals a day, and not getting hungry.
