  1. Hi there, I traveled to Chicago in June and had absolutely no issue getting thru security. I, too, will be traveling to Disney late in August and again expect no problems going thru security. I do have a card though that my doctor gave me that I can keep in my wallet stating that I have a lap band. It also has the actual picture of my lapband from the xray taken after the surgery to make sure it was in place.
  2. klpdbl, It took a while for me to get my first fill because I was steadily losing weight and not feeling too hungry until now. My doc told me everyone is different and some people plug away for months without a fill. There always come the day though that having lost so much weight, the stomach shrinks and the band needs to be tightened. Good luck to you with your fill and thanks for the welcome. Renied2:)
  3. I am new here.us I was banded July 26 by Dr. Adam Glasgow. Have lost 53 lbs. so far. Was feeling really hungry lately and had my first fill today. I am hoping the fill keeps my weight loss on track.
