Chest pain 5 days post op

Hi,

I was sleeved 12/28 and my nut and surgeon said the first week i will be on clear liquids including jello. I tried some 3 days after my surgery and had a small pain under my left breast bone every time I take small bites. I tried it again tonight on day 5 post op and felt the same pain. Is this normal? Will this go away? is it because its sort of cold?

Anything helps, i'm just worried.

Thanks!

Hey!

I had the sleeve a day after you and I have been experiencing similar things - for me I get a pain behind my sternum whenever I swallow. This happens more with pure liquids than with creamed Soups. I hope it's a temporary deal bc I would be extremely devastated if this is an irreparable symptom.

Good luck to us both! [emoji1374]

I was sleeved on Dec 15th. The pain does go away. I no longer have any trouble eating.

Thank you so much!
