That's great news! No nausea? And how'd the pain and gas?

Let us know how it goes. When do you think you'll be released?

Thank you so much, everyone!! I am feeling absolutely amazing. No nausea, not much pain, not much gas. I prepared for the worst and prayed for the best! And i am sooo grateful for this day! [emoji177]

I just had my surgery yesterday too! First day was pretty miserable for me, but I am feeling so much better today. I do believe I will get to go home this afternoon. God luck to you! Hope your healing continues to go smoothly! [emoji846]

Yes, they let me go home the day after my surgery. I do think I’m developing a pneumonia or an infection though. Once I realized I was running the low grade fever I started doing my breathing exercises religiously but I’m not sure if it isn’t too late. [emoji30]. Everything hurts going down, even the smallest sip of water. I’m dreading getting re admitted to the hospital. We will see.

Oh, maybe you should contact your surgeon / your team and let them know what's going on. Don't wait too long.

I called my surgeon, says sounds like my lungs are developing an infection. Will pay close attention to it this weekend and will go in for a chest xray on Tuesday.
