3 Days Post Op

Day Three post op and I’m not sure if I’m drinking enough fluids. Dr. Said to drink 1-2 oz every 15 minutes but it takes me that long to get it down. Plus do the popsicles, jello and broth count toward my required oz per day? ?

Yes definitely count them! Good luck it’s gets easier each day. I’m post op day 6.

I’m also post-op day 3. I feel like I’m drinking fluids all the time. It takes me a while to get down the ounces. Plus still have gas pain. Walking around has definitely helped.

YES.

IT will get better, first few days are the worst, it will get better every day. I have had more trouble with cold than anything. room temperature water is not very appitizing. but still better than protein shakes :)
