Cold medicine and VSG

So I’m feeling a bit of a cold coming on (strange because I’ve managed to stay healthy for over a year now!) my question is about meds like NyQuil. I know this is really a question for my doctor, but in the mean time, does anyone find that they tolerate it well or have to take less of it for the same effect? Etc.

Thanks!!

Em
