Consitpation

Hey guys! I’ve been struggling with lately and now I’m getting scared. I’m sorry if this is tmi but I need some advice. My bowels are hard little pebbles and are covered in this yellow/white jelly like mucus. What’s going on?

Er no idea about the white/yellow stuff as I experienced none or that. But a quick Google search pops up

"Yellow or clear mucus is present in such little amounts that the naked eye would not notice it. When stool has visible mucus, it can be a sign of bacterial infections, anal fissures, a bowel obstruction, or Crohn's disease."

Which probably warrants a call to the doctors office in the morning especially depending on how significant.

As for constipation a stool softener would help tremendously with the hard pebbles (and in general).

As for what my doctor recommended for me and i have been doing. Take a stool softener twice a day, take benefiber twice a day, take miralax when needed (but try not to take it everyday).

I'm assuming you're post op sleeve right? Just because your icon thingy says preop
