My name is chasity and i have two daughters. One 7 yr old and one 11 mth old and i am married to there father. I just want to reintroduce myself cuz my last intro was short.

I am considering the lap band becasue i am severly overweight. i already sent in my paperwork today, I am waiting for them to call me when they recieve it to make an appt for my intial office visit. I am scared and excited at the same time. I have alot of worrys.

I am 23 yrs old and currently weigh 309 pounds. Im 5 foot 3 and my BMI is 54. YIKES!!! anyways im glad i found this forum.

You will learn to rely heavily on this site, for information and support, from a great group of people! Look around read up, and do lots of research, the lap band is not a magic wand, but it makes weight loss, and the maintenance of weight loss, a much more doable task!!!
