Weezing cough 3 days before surgery

Well my fears have come true! I've developed a nagging wheezy cough right before surgery. Luckily I have no other symptoms. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get rid of it before my surgery on Thursday?? Thank you so much!!!

Oh dear, good luck! I took 2,000 mg of vitamin c and some Benadryl last night. Here's hoping it runs its course before the end of the week!

Get well! Hot tea, prayer, sleep!
It's one of my fears, too.

Make sure you notify your surgeon of this on the day of your history of the past week. No matter what. It was on here someone said a man did not notify his surgeon of a cold

.had surgery. Ended up in ICU in a bad state. You need your body to be in a less vulnerable state. Here. A minor cold will have a surgery canceled. But worth it as risks are not worth it. Plenty of rest and sleep . I used antiseptic hand gell and stayed away from people last week. I couldn't risk it. Now after I always got a cold lol
