yes. I feel like a major part of the reason I was overweight in the first place was from years of steroids for asthma. After a year of being off the steroids the weight didnt come down much so I had surgery. Now I'm always worried that i may have to go back on it for an extended period of time. So far since the surgery I've only had to take it for about a week at a time, but I'm always worried that it may cause me to gain again. Luckily that hasn't happened. Maybe it has slowed me down a little but I really can't say for sure. The good thing is that my asthma is much better now so hopefully I can avoid it going further, but it is definitely a concern of mine.
