bruising at incision sites

My gf had her sleeve done 1 week before mine. I am now 5 days post op. I have bruising at 3 of my sites, she has none....just curious if anyone else did...I am sure it is just a normal variant...

I had bruising around the incision above the belly button, and in fact, the bruising is still there. Surgery was 10/16 and I was told by many that the bruising is quite normal.

I was given some blood thinners via injection. The bruising where I was given the shots looked horrible for a while. I had forgotten about the shots, but asked about the bruises at my one week appointment. That's when the nurse said "those are from the blood thinners"...

My surgery was 8 days ago. I still have bruising on all my incision sites and at the 2 heparin injection sights. The bruising around my belly button is the worse. So your bruising is normal. Your gf is so lucky to not have bruising!
