Can anyone with Amerihealth ins. tell me how long it took for approval and if there was a lot of hoops and/or appeals? i finished all my pre op appts on sept 25th and have been waiting. The surgeons office supposedly submitted the paperwork. i've lvm for the scheduler last week and still waiting for response.

If I were you I would call your insurance company to verify they have everything they need. I have Aetna and it took about three weeks for them to approve me and I was impatient so I called them to ensure they were not waiting for any paperwork from the doctors office or me.
