Hey guys hope everyone's well , ever since surgery I feel like there's a lump in my throat like something's stuck I can't shake the feeling anyone have this same issue ? Not sure if it's from endoscopy that they did to make sure everything went smooth [emoji53] I'm just trying to feel normal again and this doesn't help

I had that and my throat was also sore for a week or so. Now two months out I still feel a bit of a lump bit it's not uncomfortable. I don't usually notice it.

I wonder if it's from when they do the endoscopy but that would of meant they were rather rough I say that only because the last one I had I was fine I didn't know if anyone else had the same issue

The breathing tube could also irritate your throat.

I have the same. It doesn’t mean they were rough, I guess. Yes, it has been irritated with pipes, plus you got your fluids through IV for about 2 days, and a few more days after you (most likely) was dehydrated. That’s a perfect condition to get some soreness or even mild infection. It should go away soon.

Thursday I go for my first follow up I'm going to have him check my throats it's very irritated all the time that constant lump feeling is very annoying and I've had enough of it ugh

Lump in throat is a hallmark sign of GERD. When I first got GERD years ago I described it like feeling like there's a golfball in my throat.

Could either be new onset (or a bad flare up of) GERD, or possibly acid damage/swelling related to being under anesthesia
