newbie.

hey everyone. i really like reading everything you guys are going through. you all give me inspiration to do something as well.

unfortunately, my insurance doesn't cover the surgery so i am on the search for financing...but so far it's looking pretty dim.

i look forward to being able to make this life change and sharing it with you as i go along.

Hi courtknee, aka mike's girlfriend...cute.

I didn't have insurance so I did the research and found a great place that was all inclusive for $7000. I had an overdraft line of credit on my checking account and just used that.

So if you finance, just remember you have options and don't get stuck with a high rate.

Have you tried everything with your insurance company. I was denied twice and my company is self insured. Go Figure! Insurance company was not even involved and I still got denied.. Ask for a copy of you SPD for your plan and look real closely at what is covered. Don't just let someone tell you it is not a covered expense. You may be surprised. My surgery is set for Halloween. Good Luck!
