No appetite

Hi everybody. I'm 8 weeks post-op. Doesn't matter what I eat, I don't enjoy of food, even though it's my favorite food. Is it normal?

I'm sort of the same way. I might enjoy 1 or 2 bites, but I often find it wasn't that enjoyable as I remembered. Aka, not worth it.

I did enjoy a piece of cheesecake, one time during Pms. Everything else feels like a chore. But I do it anyways, most days.

I usually don't let it bother me too much if I've got my fluids, vitamins and almost all my protein for the day. If I'm way short, I will force myself.

Same here. I'm almost 7 weeks post op. I don't crave food like I used too. I just don't care about food anymore, and to me that is great thing. Food was the center of my life before, but now it's only to get the protein I need. I'm learning that food is no longer my focus.

I am also 7 weeks post op and not only do I have to force myself to eat, I am so nauseous! Anyone else feeling so nauseous? I too just try to make sure I get to protein in and my water. Any suggestions on the nausea?

Honestly I get nauseous when I don't have enough to eat, or when I go more than 3 hrs without eating. Maybe make sure you're getting enough, even if you have to force yourself a little?
