I've never heard of "insurance" covering protein shakes but if you have a flex spending account through your insurance it maybe an acceptable expense you can purchase on your flex spending card. I've never tried purchasing any protein shakes on my flex spending card but I will definitely try and see what happens [emoji16]

Google insure nutrition. I think that's the company. They have a form you can fill out and they'll run your insurance.

I have not paid for a single shake, and am 3 days from surgery (drinking 7 shakes a day for 2 week pre-op liver shrinking diet).

Be sure to try www.insurenutrition.com early so you can stock up on them. I get 4 boxes (18 shakes per box) every month, I had 2-3 lots saved up so I didn't need to buy any.

FYI their website is garbage (as of today)... Just sign up, they will call you. If you have any questions, you need to call them back as you can not log in.
