Water!!

Had sleeve done on Mon the 11th.. so post op by 2 or 3 days. I'm still in the hospital and working on sipping water. However each time I swallow it burns my chest for just a few seconds, is this normal?

everything is inflamed. I had to experiment to find the right temperature that didnt cause discomfort. Ice cold worked best for me. The first few days its tough to get the fluid in.

I had mine on Mon the 11th too. I am home and trying to get in my fluids. It especially hard getting in my shakes. They go right through me. :( popcicles are a life saver! I'm still in a lot of pain from the main incision site. Still trying to figure how to get out of bed and off the couch without excruciating pain. I live alone so this has been quite an adventure already. Good luck!

Hi, I had my surgery as well on 9/11 and I'm still having pain on the left side where my main incision is. It only hurts when I'm trying to get up or move around . Feels almost like a pulled muscle. Hope this is normal . And like everyone else these shakes are just so hard to get in . Thank goodness for power aid zero and water !
