I have not had my band yet but I am getting a little scared. I was doing a endosleeve trial with my band doctor for three months. I didn't get the device and didn't lose any wait but the nurse said that others without the device lost 30 lbs and that diet and exercise works. She made me feel like a failure for wanting to get the band so I held off. I am in limbo right now. Can anyone give me any advice. Does anyone regret having the band?!?!

Please help?!?!?:help::think:omg::help:

Hey, Dont let her make you feel like a failure. I have No regrets getting the lap band. It has helped me start living a normal life, I have lost 45 lbs and I feel so much better, I no longer take pills for high cholestorol, or for high blood pressure. I am more active in my life. Now this was in no way easy, It has taken lots of work. You can do it though if you put your mind to it! :whoo:

When is your band date?!?!? I am still in the insurance apprival stage

I had my lapband put in on September 7th, 2007

I am 5'1" and weight 200 and I am in a size 18 but they are getting loose. I can't wait to fit into a 16 again.

5'1" 195 was my highest and I was squeezing into size 14 pants. Skirts and dresses were all size L from stores like banana Republic, Gap, Ann Taylor.

I just bought a size 12 winter coat that fits comfortably! I am going to wait until I lose more before I start buying more clothes.

I'm 5'2'' weigh around 211 and I'm wearing size 20. I know I could get into tight 18's...I'm wear XL tops too.

My highest known weight was 338 about 6 years ago. I was bursting out of 32's. and 4XLs.

At my highest I was 180. at 5'2. and wore a size 1i6.. I got the band and got downe to size 4or 6.. I now wear a size 6. I am unfilled at the moment..for I guess since last Augest. So I have put some weight back on.
