Crunchy stuff

Im only 8 days postop and i think im gonna stay with liquids for a long time. Thank god i dont feel hunger and i tolerate good enough my water and protein Shake. But Just for curiosity how much time do you have to wait to eat crunchy food (i. e crackers toast)? ha ha i really miss that.

Hi I had my surgery 9/5/17
Saw my nutritionist today.
She said I can have a Melba toast this weekend...
It's supposed to be 4 weeks...but I have tolerating foods well.
But go easy...we aren't supposed to have more than a half piece of toast at a time.
I hope you saw a nutritionist.
It's very helpful.

Crackers and toast are empty carbs, so be careful with them. I try to limit my "crunchy stuff" to raw veggies, parmesan crisps, nuts, pork rinds, etc. Most of those are for later on, after the soft foods stage, though. Hang in there!
