  1. Hi I had my RNY surgery in September and I’m very happy I did it. I’m no longer obese and no longer on diabetes and high blood pressure meds. I’ve lost nearly 80 pounds since Pre -op diet and feel much better about myself. Hope you all are doing well.
  2. I got rashes do to my B 12 number being high.
  3. I have lost weight previously and already have saggy skin....so expect more.
  4. Who was your surgeon? I had Dr. Rainville. .The hospital staff were wonderful. The office too..l had one minor hiccup...but overall...I am very happy.
  5. Tomorrow I'm 3 weeks out and I feel pretty good...still having a hard time getting all of my fluids and protein....but I have lost about 20 pounds including the pre-op diet.... so that's nice.
  6. I'm only 2 weeks out as of today. So I hope I do well. I lost 18 pounds since my pre op diet..
  7. Hi ...I'm 55 and had a RNY on 9/5/17 Seems like not many people are participating in this group anymore.
  8. I had some very bad hip pain in my left hip a few days after surgery...relieved it feels better after three days.
  9. This is going to sound simplistic...but for me...I was so happy to have cottage cheese, sugar free ices, and chicken broth. I also needed stool softener, and benedryl spray for when my incisions started to itch when healing. I have a reclining chair which is nice to find a comfy position...try to get some loose pants or a night gown.
  10. I was happy I had slippers and pajama bottoms.
  11. Hi I had my surgery 9/5/17 Saw my nutritionist today. She said I can have a Melba toast this weekend... It's supposed to be 4 weeks...but I have tolerating foods well. But go easy...we aren't supposed to have more than a half piece of toast at a time. I hope you saw a nutritionist. It's very helpful.
  12. I had surgery on 9/5/17 I was told to treadmill and do elliptical....not any heavy lifting yet.
