I had to do that. My surgeon told me to maintain my weight because if you gain your ins company would make you start over.



What did you do to maintain your weight? Did you change any eating habits

Yes I had to change my eating habits. I stopped soda and went to Chrystal Light. Stopped eating out as much. Stopped all starches.



Thanks! Its just so nerve wreaking being borderline and not knowing if your forsure going to be approve[emoji31] but i will try my bedt to not lose or gain anh weight

What exactly does your ins policy say are the qualifying conditions? Some allow lower bmi if you have comorbidities - like sleep apnea, high blood pressure, etc.

My insurance company requires 40 bmi or higher or 35 with comorbidities.. I actually believe i have no comorbidities possibly sleep apnea since most people arent aware they have it but i was told i dont need a sleep study
