Water

Does anyone have issues with water hurting? No matter how small of sips I take it feels like a rock in my stomach. All other liquids go down fine, including crystal light. I used to love water, now I dread trying to drink it.

Yes. Plain water made me sick for the first week to 10 days. Flavored water was OK. It has since gotten better and I can drink plain water again. No explanation why, but it is not uncommon to have issues with water.

I'm exactly 2 weeks post op and i still can't drink straight water. At first I despised crystal light- I can't handle a lot of artificial sweeteners but now I'm getting used to it. Before surgery all I drank was pretty much water and iced tea. I'm hoping I'll be able to drink straight water again soon- I miss it so much
