8 Weeks Post Op

  • Popular Post

Hey Everyone. My name is Katie. I have only posted here one time before pre op and that was regarding insurance. Anyway, I was finally approved after 6 months of nutrition evaluations. I had my surgery on June 20th, 2017 and I'm down 39 pounds so far. My starting weight at the hospital was 295 and this morning I weighed 256. So far I've had no complications and I can pretty much eat anything. I say that loosely because there are times I've tried some questionable things when I've been on the road. No dumping. I eat very little of anything and am finding myself having to drink more protein shakes to get my protein in. I've found myself not really caring for food and then having toIMG_3669.JPG force myself to eat because I know I have to. Anyway I am feeling so much better. I still can't see a difference in myself but everyone else says they see a difference.

Thanks Everyone!

I had my surgery on the same day as you and we have very similar progress, I'm down 40 pounds so far.
I can see a massive difference in your pictures, least not the massive smile in the after! Like you, I don't really care for food anymore and have to remind myself that I HAVE to eat constantly.
Good luck moving forward!

Keep up the great work! Congratulations on your successful journey.
