Feels like a lump in the throat

Has anyone had the same or similar feeling after post-op? Today i am 2 weeks post-op and been feeling like i have something in my throat that will not go down. Don't know what could this be. My surgeon repaired a hiatal hernia i had also during the procedure.

Did you tell your doctor this? He may want to do an upper GI or endoscopy to see why you are having that feeling. I have had both surgeries and also hiatial hernia, but I never had this feeling with either.

I'm about a week post op and I have this feeling too. It doesn't hurt or affect my drinking (no eating yet). I assume it's from the breathing tube scraping my throat and it will heal? It's a very minor feeling so I'm not worried but curious if anyone finds out about it.
