Hey everyone! Fairly new here... 7 weeks PO

Just wanted to introduce myself and share my progress with you all. My name is Melissa, I'm 41 years old and I had the gastric sleeve. I researched for months before deciding on a surgeon and then my PCP (my regular physician) researched as well. She was all for my using Dr Maytorena through Long Term WLS in Tijuana. My PCP was extremely pleased with the professionalism, the records I brought back to her including every test they ran, every medication i was given and the xray cd showing my leak test. She even says when I go back there for a visit I have to take her with me. Haha! I had an amazing experience overall. The facility was the cleanest I've been in, the staff was absolutely wonderful and took great care of me. I have not had any issues at all since coming home and my coordinator Ruben and Dr Jorge Maytorena have both checked on me since I've been home. I am down 50 pounds since the surgery May 29th and a total of 64 overall since preop. If you are considering WLS I would definitely recommend them. Below is a collage showing before photos on the left and my current progress on the right. I am ecstatic to see where this journey takes me! If you are researching surgeons and have questions about my personal experience I would love to chat. [emoji4]
