Did anyone else have to wear compression stockings in the hospital?

I didn't.

I did not; just had those sweet grippy socks for walking around.

I will have the scd's automatic sequential squeezing device on and they usually use compression stockings under those. It's all to prevent blood clots.

I had to put mine on before surgery and had to wear them for 5 days post op

I just had the ones that would inflate and deflate in intervals. Once I was up walking I didn't have to use them.

Ha, reading the other responses I now remember that I definitely had something on my legs. It wasn't a sock, more like a really big blood pressure cuff that must've been the squeezing device to prevent clotting. Man, I must've been really out of it that first day...completely forgot about that until now. Like others said, once I was up and walking they took them off.

I had the cuffs in my legs too- to prevent blood clots and the. Had to give myself injections for 2 weeks at home! Thankfully my lower belly is numb from 4 c-sections so it only hurt when the medicine started to burn after injection.

Those injections hurt like a b***h the burn OMG lucky I only had 2 of them in hospital one in belly and one in leg dam
