A couple tough days

These couples days have been though!! Monday I was starting to really start to feel normal after my surgery in 6/29. I woke up at 4am with 102 fever and freaked out. I called the on-call doctor to make sure I didn't have an infection and she wasn't concerned because I didn't have any other symptoms accompanying it. In the morning I woke up with a sore throat and my husband checked and it looks like strep. Went to urgent care and sure enough I have strep throat. Go figure. So for the last 2 days I've felt absolutely horrible. I hope today is better.

Sorry to hear you have strep. On a positive note strep is better to have than an infection (or worse). I hope you kick the strep very fast.

Hang in in there, things will improve. Remember, it could always be worse. At least the discomfort should subside within a few days since you caught it early and are probably on anti-biotics.

Three days after I came home form my surgery I was admitted to the ER for dehydration coupled with a migraine and had to be hooked up to an IV for fluids.
