Post Op

Hi everyone: I'm Liz. I am one week out from my procedure. I had my follow up visit today and proudly learned that I'm already down ten pounds. Well, my tummy is still swollen and protrudes more than normal. Does anyone know when the swelling goes down? Any tips? [emoji4]

Hi Liz
Well good luck with it all and get ready to enjoy the journey (with many ups and Of course a few downs).
So your one week from surgery, I didn't get swelling but I did get the bloated feeling, I was sleeved 11/1/17 and have gone from 132.3kg to 96.3kg
It's going to be a life changer for you and although I'm still learning how to eat it's getting better
Good luck and feel free to message me if you need anything advice wise
Cheers
Domenic

2 days post op. I feel too full to take in fluids. I've gotten 6 oz in so far since 6am and just feel like bursting uncomfortable fullness. I cannot at this moment fathom drinking 64 oz. Did you feel this way a well? The 2 other girls who were sleeved the same day were taking 6-8 oz an hour. They've both been discharged. I should be going home this evening. Can't wait to sleep in my own bed but worried about getting enough fluids right now.
