Day 1 survivor

Hi I started my pre-op liquid diet today. My surgery is on the 6th. I can only have clear liquids but I feel like I'm on day 1 of survivor. My tummy is growling like crazy. Any tips? I don't know how to do this for an entire week.

    Your stomach growling is likely gas and contents moving quickly through your digestive tract, called peristalsis. There's nothing abnormal about it, especially post-op.

    Thanks I know it's normal - was looking for some advice as to what others had to stifle that feeling. But thanks for your comment

    Yeah clear broths and herbal teas, coffee too without milk and sugar.

    I'm not sure why I wasn't given more information - I guess because I'm doing it in Kenya. They said clear liquids - I can add protein to it as well but should be minced.

    There are clear protein powders you can add to water or ready made Isopure and Synthrax nectar.
