Breathe deep. Your body is healing. It's going to take 6-8 weeks for your body to heal from the surgery. You had IV fluids and it can take at least a week for those to work their way out of your system. It's so east to step on that scale every day, but take a day off. Follow your plan. If you are on clear liquids - do it. If it's full liquids, do it. You need to take some deep breaths.

We work ourselves up into a frenzy going into surgery and sometimes I think we expect too much. You will lose the weight. Just not all in the first month.

In my first week I went from 246 to 238. 8 Pounds. I'm 9 months out an 93.9 pounds down at this point. Breathe deep. Follow your plan. Don't try to rush things. It will come off.
